About Us

West Virginia Utility is a division of East Resources. The company supplies natural gas to nearly 5,0000 residential and commercial customers in 23 counties across West Virginia.

The utility began operations in 1937 as a division of Penzoil Company. East Resources acquired the company in 2000. The utility and East Resources operates 1,200 miles of gas gathering and distribution pipelines in West Virginia.

East Resources continues to make captial investments in the infrastructure of both the utility business and its gas gathering operations in order to provide reliable, safe and affordable gas service.
