Tariffs

A tariff is a schedule of rates or charges and rules for a public utility. East Resources and West Virginia Utility are approved by the federal govenment and the Public Service Commission of West Virginia.

Every public utility is required to have a tariff that is approved by the Public Service Commission. Utilities are also required to make the tariffs available for customers to review. 

Some tariff's are complicated, ours are shorter and easier to understand. The following pages in this section are the common tariffs that affect our customers.
